My Background

I go by the name NEO. I was born in London and  went to a Church of England primary school and as a teenager was baptised at a Pentecostal Church, where I had a profound experience. I was academically bright but had no encouragement in pursuing my ambitions so as a result did not achieve great qualifications. After I left school wondered what I could have achieved if I had no pre-determined limits.

I enrolled at college in 1989 and did a part time diploma in Business and Finance whilst working full time. On passing the course I enrolled at University in 1992to do a part-time degree in Business Studies. The course was for three years but I was offered the chance to complete it in two years. I graduated in 1994 with an upper second class honours degree.

I set up a small business offering business support services in 1996, but in 1998 decided to train to become a solicitor so did a post graduate diploma in law and a further post graduate diploma in legal practice. I completed the courses by 2000 and secured a training contract in 2001. I was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2003.  I worked as a criminal solicitor until 2006 when I set up my own practice with a criminal contract. I expanded the firm to four solicitors in 2008 after successfully securing a contract to provide advice in family law. I achieved Higher Rights of Audience in 2008, which gave me rights to represent clients in the Crown Court and High Court.

In 2010 I remembered the baptism experience  and shortly after  had a realisation that things in society were “not right”, how the “system” didn’t seem to work for the people. I thought of the various structures were in place which controlled and manipulated people and I wanted to understand why. I read to get a better understanding of what was going on in our world.

In 2012 I was offered the opportunity to do a legal show on a local radio station and in preparing for shows I began to look afresh at the structure and operation of the legal system and it began to cause me concern.  I came to realise that the law exists not for the benefit of the people but to be in control over our lives. On this realisation I knew I could no longer practice as a solicitor so closed my firm in late 2012.

I want to share with you what I know about the law, the legal systems that govern us, the other systems that control us and try to help people become aware of what’s happening and why. To help them to see the many structures which dominate and control us and to try to get people to start questioning rather than just accepting what we’re being told.

I no longer practice as a solicitor and now dedicate my time to this website. So any donations will enable me to focus on this task and would be gratefully received. Thank you.
